Engineer prints
Large-format sheets for plans, drawings and blueprints, printed from your file.
What an engineer print is
Engineer prints are the large-format sheets that construction and design work runs on: site plans, elevations, shop drawings, permit sets and blueprints. They are too big for an office copier, so they come to us, because we run a wide-format printer.
We print them in black-and-white, and in color where the drawing uses it — markups, overlays, color legends and renderings.
Sending your file
The cleanest way to get a drawing printed right is to send a PDF. Anything vector prints sharp at any size; a photograph or a scan needs to be high enough resolution that the line work does not soften when it is enlarged.
Not sure the file will hold up? Send it over and we will open it before anything is printed. Ask when you drop it off and we will tell you when it will be ready.
Collecting the set
Finished drawings are rolled for pickup. If the set is going further than the passenger seat, we stock tubes to send it in — they are on boxes & supplies, alongside everything else you might need to get it somewhere in one piece.
Printing something wider and shorter than a drawing set — a site sign, a display board? That is posters & banners. Everything else we print is listed on printing.
Get a price for your set
Every set is priced on its size, its color and how many copies you need, so tell us those three things and we will come back with a number.
