Custom boxes built to fit

A box cut and built around the item, for the shipments a stock size cannot hold.

How a custom box is built

We start from the item, not from a catalogue: measured, then boxed in corrugate cut to those measurements, with the padding chosen for what is inside. Over fifty stock sizes cover most shipments — boxes & supplies lists them — and a custom box is what happens when none of them is right.

Single-wall

One layer of corrugate, cut to a size no stock box matches. The everyday case: the contents are sturdy enough, the shape is simply unusual.

Double-wall

Two layers of corrugate for weight and for rigidity. Heavier pieces and anything that has to hold its shape under other freight travel this way.

Foam-lined

Foam cut to the contour of the item so it is held on every face and cannot move inside the box. This is the usual answer for fragile, oddly shaped and high-value pieces.

Insulated

An insulating liner inside the box, for contents that should not sit against the outside temperature for the length of the trip.

Double-boxing

A packed inner box suspended in padding inside a second, larger box, so an impact on the outer carton never reaches the inner one directly.
